Dear Friends at Botero Homes: Pauline and I, together with our twin daughters, Sophia and Delphia, want to thank you for building our beautiful home located at 840 Saigon Road in McLean. We are very satisfied with the design and quality of the house and are very impressed with the services your company has given us. Building a custom home was a big, yet difficult decision for us. It could also be risky as the project involves a lot of work. Today, six months after we moved into our dream home, we are really glad that we made the right decision to select Botero Homes to be our builder. When we first met, you told us you would do everything to make the process a relaxing and fun journey. You actually did! We enjoyed every stage of the process and were very relaxed to see our dream coming true step by step! In addition, you made the process very transparent to us so that we knew every progress and budget in detail. Not only did you complete the construction with our total satisfaction, you also completed the house within the budget. It was so important for us to keep the project within the budget in today’s economic circumstance. Comparing the price of our house with similar houses on the market in our neighborhood, we found we had saved at least 40%! Dear Mr. Botero, On behalf of my entire family, I want to thank you for building a beautiful home for us. We interviewed many builders and selected you because we thought you could build exactly what we wanted, the transparency and costs involved in the process, and your wonderful team. Time and again, we found each of these to be true and reinforced during construction. Let me briefly discuss each one. First, from the time we met you and your team, we knew that you will truly build our home our way. You and the others on your team made sure we were happy with every corner, finish, and detail of our house. You did not blink when we needed to move a wall (or two) or decided to add a swimming pool. You truly made sure that our home was built our way! Second, I appreciated the transparency involved in the process. From day one, Felipe made sure we knew exactly what we were putting into the house and how much it would cost. He made sure that we had access to all the invoices to the extent we wanted to see them and was always available to discuss costs and budget issues. He made sure that we were happy and staying within budget. Finally, I cannot say enough about your team. It starts with you. You were always there when we needed you. You answered every email, returned every phone call, and were available when we wanted to talk or meet with you. I do not know of any builder that does that. I believe the others at Botero Homes, including Ken, Felipe, and Claudia, have the same attitude, i.e., make sure you are there for your clients and that they are happy. As time went on, our evaluation proved accurate time and time again. While those were the most important values to us, your added ability to envision what was possible when we were just verbalizing an interest in a Mediterranean style home. Your attention to every detail was most admirable. You took our project as if it was your own home and we very much admired that. You were open to new ideas and exposed us to a wealth of knowledge. Thank you very much for sharing this (occupancy Permit) with us. It has been an amazing journey for us for the last two years since we decided to have this home built for us. There were a lot of ups and downs during this journey, but then this is expected in a project of this size. As long as we reached the destination successfully, and we achieved the desired result, the bumps along the way make it all worthwhile. Let me take this opportunity to also thank you and the entire staff for a job well done. Felipe, Ken, Claudia and Isa were all wonderful. It takes a team to do this and we all became one team to accomplish what we set out to do. We are now looking forward to moving in and enjoying the home. One Year After Moving In It seems like a long time since we moved into our new home at the end of June 2013. We are still settling down, but we have been enjoying every stage. So, though somewhat late, I am taking this opportunity to put down some of our thoughts. It took us about a year to make a decision to build a home for ourselves, do the initial plan design, and crystallize our thoughts into what we wanted exactly. Then started the search for a reputed builder who could put our thoughts into action and build us the dream house that we wanted. This was very difficult because we wanted a very contemporary home, and there are not many builders in this area who can do this. After interviewing and researching many builders, we finally settled on Botero Homes, and looking back, that was the best decision. You have been able to build and deliver to us the exact custom home that we had planned for ourselves. There are many “custom builders”, but when we looked them up close, we realized they were very limited in their capabilities, or had many restrictions. You have been able to provide us an excellent quality of construction, with the options we desired, and with a lot of cooperation throughout the process. Thank you so much again. When we started out on the project, we expected difficulties and we had many of them.
